Field Setup

Parents please sign-up and help out with field set-up!!

Field set-up at the Route 52 Complex for the Spring 2018 season is scheduled for Saturday, March 24th from 8 AM to 4 PM

All help is appreciated but the schedule is organized into two hour blocks with three different job types to try to better distribute help over the course of the day.  The three job types are:

  • Crew Chief – these folks may be experienced or just comfortable with laying out a field and are willing to coordinate a small crew of helpers (2 to 4) with measuring the space, running string to mark the space, and lining the field.
  • Field Crew – these folks are willing to help specifically with laying out fields under the guidance of a crew chief and are comfortable making measurements, running string, and lining fields.
  • General Help – these folks are willing to assemble goals, attach nets to goals, move goals, pound goal anchors, attach pads to micro goals, run lining equipment, or just simply help with complex clean-up and organization.

Please volunteer to help with set-up – the more hands the easier the work and the faster it gets done.

This is also an excellent opportunity for high school aged teams have players help to earn community services credit.
